First, use a flat-head screwdriver to remove the large screw from under the hard-drive portion of the case. The hard-drive will then lift out easily. If your Atari has never been opened before, you'll need to remove the Atari warranty seal... I don't think you're going to get your money back from Atari at this point, so that should be alright.  :-) If you need more access to the TT030's innards, you'll need to remove all the smaller screws from the bottom of the case. Once you do that the top portion of the case can be removed.
